Grandidierite and White Zircon 3 stone ring in Platinum over 925 SS sz 9 1.65 ct
One of the rarest gemstones in the world, grandidierite is a bluish-green to greenish-blue stone that was first discovered in 1902. Found in Madagascar by Alfred Lacroix, it was named in honor of Alfred Grandidier, a French explorer responsible for sharing much of Madagascar’s natural history and mapping its lands. This ring has three of these rare gems that are translucent and not opaque as you will usually find in the marketplace. They are just the right size and not overbearing so the ring can be worn either day or evening. If you can find them at all at retail, the cost would be prohibitive.
